Creating Content Links

Add and Assign Content in Your Course

Once Academic Writer™ and PsycLearn™ LTI integration is complete, you are ready to add content and assignment links to the appropriate location in your course. This makes assignments, modules, and quizzes visible to students.

The specific LTI links you'll use to add content to your course are provided by your Customer Success Specialist in a spreadsheet that provides:

  • the title,
  • a brief description, and
  • the LTI link.

When adding content to your course, we recommend contextualizing the assignments by including the following information:

  • The estimated time for completion,
  • A reminder to open assignments one at a time to prevent interruption in grade passback, as well as
  • A reminder to use the specific assignment link rather than navigating to it from within Academic Writer to ensure that a grade is recorded.

Each LMS contains advanced features to allow you to customize the learning path for your students. We encourage you to consider using adaptive release for Academic Writer and PsycLearn assignments based on date and/or performance. You can read more about this in the LMS-specific section of each LMS page.
